Who is a member of the Alumni Association?
Every student who has graduated from or attended St. Stephen’s School, St. Agnes School, or St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School is a member of the Association.
What is the purpose of the Alumni Association?
The purpose of the Association is to foster interest in and promote the welfare of St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School, its faculty, its students, its alumni and alumnae, and to encourage closer relations among these groups.
Who is the Alumni Association Board?
The Executive Committee is the governing body of the Alumni Board and the Association – it consists of a President, a Vice President, a Treasurer, a Secretary, a Communications Officer, and a President Ex-Officio. The President sits on the Board of Governors as a School Representative. The Board consists of other at-large members, not to total more than 25 voting members. (Staff members of the Alumni Office are non-voting members.) The Alumni Association Board strives to include members who represent different eras in the history of St. Stephen's, St. Agnes, and St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School.
What does the Alumni Association Board do?
The Association Board coordinates several outreach initiatives that serve its mission in stewarding connection. For instance, it welcomes seniors into the Alumni Association, recruits class correspondents, and supports the school’s Alumni Office in many of its endeavors. The Association Board oversees two annual fund-raisers in support of the school: the Antiques Show in February and the Sleepy Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament in May.
How can I be a part?
If you ever attended St. Stephen’s School, St. Agnes School, or St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School, then you already are an important part! Your participation in Reunions, Alumni Association events, and in connecting with the school and your class is encouraged!
