General Details

A confirmation email will be sent to all camp registrants prior to the start of their camp/course. Included in this email will be general information about the camps you have selected and your account balance.  For information about a specific camp or session, please refer to our Summertimes 2009 catalog.  You can find the link to view or print our catalog on the 'Overview' page.

Meals are not provided during our summer sessions. Students and campers should bring their own brown bag lunch for full day programs.

A certified athletic trainer is on staff throughout the summer to assist our day-long sports camps.

If all spaces within a program are filled at the time an application and deposit are received, the camper's name is placed on a wait list. When a vacancy occurs, families are contacted in the order in which they appear on the wait list. If an applicant withdraws or the wait list fails to open up before the camp session, full deposits or payments will be returned.

We expect appropriate and safe conduct from all children enrolled in Summer Programs whether on or off campus. Children enrolled in Summer Programs are accountable for their conduct to any staff member. Program directors will contact the child's custodial parent when that child's behavior is inappropriate or unsafe; we may ask that parent to pick up their child. We reserve the right to terminate enrollment for behavior that is persistently inappropriate or unsafe.

Dress for camp is comfortable and weather and activity appropriate. All items should be labeled with the camper's name. Dress for academic programs is informal, but neat.

Morning Care and Extended Day

Our Morning Care and Extended Day program is offered for nine, one-week sessions on our Lower School Campus. Many parents find this extra time and flexibility to be invaluable, and many campers find their time in Morning Care and/or Extended Day to be a highlight of their week, as it gives them more informal time to relax, try new things, and form friendships with different peers.

Morning Care from 7:30-8:30 am offers campers a friendly and relaxing start to their day. Campers are in mixed age groups and are free to choose between various games and indoor activities, or the quieter option of our reading room. Shuttle service to programs on other campuses is provided.

Extended Day from 3:00-6:00 pm picks up the fun where regular camp programs during the day leave off. After checking in at "home base," campers are free to relax and/or choose between several different mixed-age options, including various outdoor and playground activities, sports, indoor games and puzzles, crafts, projects, reading room, movies, and the ever-popular Friday afternoon bingo.

A healthy snack is provided, or parents may send a snack with their child each day. Snack suggestions include fruit, granola bars, crackers, and a drink/juice box.
Shuttle service from programs on other campuses is provided.

Inter-Campus Shuttle
Campers participating in programs located on other campuses will automatically be shuttled to/from their program and the Lower School Campus. Camp staff supervise this process to insure that each camper gets to his/her proper location. Shuttles are on yellow school buses operated by our own professional St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School Transportation Department drivers. Shuttle service is free of charge.

Morning Shuttle route (one way): Lower School (leaves Lloyd House at 8:30 am) to Middle School to Upper School.

Afternoon Shuttle route (one way): Middle School (leaves at 3:00 pm) to Upper School to Lower School.

Please note: To insure proper safety and supervision, campers who arrive at the Lower School prior to 8:30 am will be placed in Morning Care and charged accordingly. Likewise, those children who are not picked up by 20 minutes after the end of their camp will be placed in Extended Day. Campers picked up after 6:00 pm incur additional late fee charges.
