Transportation

t. Stephen’s & St. Agnes students from throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area can take advantage of our comprehensive school bus transportation program both in the morning and afternoon.

Commuter Routes
The school offers a fleet of buses that provide services to take students to school, either one-way or round-trip, for a fee. Using a system of centralized bus stops, no parent has to drive more than a few miles from his or her home to the closest stop in the morning. Each student who rides the bus home in the afternoon will be dropped off at the nearest and safest street corner to his or her home. We develop new commuter routes when there is adequate interest and participation.

Safety
All of our bus drivers have GPS systems on board for tracking purposes, and they carry mobile phones for emergencies.

Intra-Campus Shuttle

Morning and afternoon shuttle service between the campuses provides transportation for families who have more than one child at more than one campus or for families who live closer to one campus than another. There is no charge for the shuttle service.

Metro Shuttle

Students who take public transportation may ride the MetroRail, MetroBus, Dash Bus, or the Fairfax Connector Bus to the King Street Metro station. From the King Street Metro they may take advantage of our free morning and afternoon shuttles to and from the metro station. The metro shuttle serves all three campuses. There is no charge for the shuttle service.

Evening Metro Shuttle

Students who stay late due to after school activities or sports may ride the 6:00 p.m. shuttle to the King Street metro station. This shuttle serves the Upper and Middle School campuses. There is no charge for the shuttle service.
