Upper School Academic Departments

Academic Support

The Academic Center provides support to students who have mild to moderate learning needs. Such support includes help with writing, reading comprehension, mathematics, test preparation, organization, and time management.

The Director of The Academic Center reviews existing records to identify students who may benefit from academic support, or who may require a referral for an educational evaluation. The Director of the Academic Center will facilitate communication between administrators and teachers in order to provide support and monitor student progress. Parent meetings are an integral part of providing support and are scheduled as needed.
