Lower School Options
Extended Day Programs
The Lower School provides extended day programs before school from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and after school until 6:00 p.m. on all regular school days: 3:00–4:00 p.m., 3:00-5:00 p.m., or 3:00–6:00 p.m.
Drop-in care is available on a limited, reservation-only basis, and reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. This program is staffed by current and former Lower School faculty members and is located on the lower level of Daniel Gym.
After-school Enrichment Activities
Lower School students who are on campus after dismissal also have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of after-school enrichment activities. Each trimester, the school offers a variety of fun and educational programs. The offerings vary each session, depending on interest and availability. Private art lessons, fencing, rocket-building, Mandarin, creative writing, construction club, gymnastics, and science club are just a few of the activities that have been offered in the past.
Middle School Options
At the Middle School campus, students can attend an afternoon study hall until 6:00 p.m. that includes homework time, a period of play supervised by Middle School faculty members, and an opportunity to eat a snack. Board games and other activities are available for student use. Parents may choose an hourly plan as needed or an annual plan of five, ten or 15 hours of care per week.
