Distinguished Alumni Service Award

Established during the 2009-2010 school year, the Distinguished Alumni Service Award honors an alumnus or alumna who through service, leadership and achievement has distinguished him/herself at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes and the community at large. The recipient should, through the quality of his/her life, spirit and service, exemplify the ideals of the SSSAS mission: a commitment to service, the pursuit of goodness as well as knowledge and the honoring of each person as a child of God in a caring community.Alumni may be nominated for the biennial award, to be presented during an Upper School chapel service, by any member of the school community.

The 2018 Distinguished Alumni Service Award recipient is Jennifer Griffin '87. Jennifer is currently a national security correspondent for the FOX News Channel in Washington D.C. Jennifer is a devoted advocate for Wounded Warriors and breast cancer research. Jennifer is also a dedicated alumni volunteer including serving on her Reunion Committee last year. You will find much more about Jennifer's impressive career of service in the upcoming summer SSSAS magazine.
