When I was new during new student orientation, there were students to welcome us. One of them was new the year before and it was very comforting to hear her experience being new. I'd like to share that with other students and families.
Prospective students virtually shadow current Upper School students for a half day of classes. Students are required to have completed a tour and interview prior to their Visiting Day.

Join the members of our performing and visual art departments, along with current students, as they discuss with prospective families how the arts provide students with opportunities to pursue and discover life long passions in a supportive community.

Join us for coffee and conversation with Mike Mallett, Upper School Director, to discover more about the Upper School curriculum and some of the exciting new changes on the horizon. The Curriculum Coffee is a great opportunity for parents who were unable to attend past admission events this fall, to learn more about the Upper School.

You will hear directly from The Head of School and The Middle School Director.

AUDIENCE: Parents of all rising 6th grade students. This includes families of students transitioning for our Lower School to our Middle School, and it includes all families of all newly enrolled and rising 6th grade students. Join us to learn more about the transition to sixth grade and what to expect from Middle School. You will have the opportunity to meet other parents and The Middle School Leadership Team.
AUDIENCE: Prospective families that currently have students that will apply for admission to 6th through 8th grade for the 2022-2023 school year. Thank you for your early interest in our community. Please join us to learn more about the ways you can prepare for the admission process, meet the Admission Team, Middle School Leadership, and Students. The event will conclude with a Q&A session, and we will ask for questions in advance.
AUDIENCE: Parents of newly enrolled 7th & 8th grade students. Join us to learn more about the transition for new students in grades seven and eight. You will have the opportunity to meet other parents and The Middle School Leadership Team.
The Spring Preview Tour is for prospective families that currently have a seventh grade student(s) that will apply to St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School for the 2020-2021 school year. Families with current sixth grade familes are encouraged and welcome to attend.
In advance of your visit to our campus, a COVID-19 Acknowledgement form will be emailed to your family from DocuSign. Prior to your visit, this form must be signed by both parents and have all of your children listed.
General Planning Timeline
You are encouraged to inquire at any point in your search. We understand each family has a unique timeline and circumstances related to their school search. That’s why our friendly Admission staff are accessible all year long to assist you wherever you are in the search process. Here’s a look at the general timeline many families follow.
Sep-Nov: Register for testing based on the grade to which your child is applying.
Oct-Dec:Visit Campus by registering for a group tour, open house, information session or an interview.
Dec-Jan:Complete application and support documents such as transcripts, teacher recommendations, and test results.
Jan 15: Applications and supporting documents (transcripts and recommendations) are due. For applications received after January 15th, the Admission Office will work closely with families to expedite the process and complete all steps of the application as soon as possible. Second round decisions will be made as space allows.
Jan-Feb: Wrap up campus visits and testing. Feb 1: Test results (optional for 2021) need to be completed by Feb 1st, 2020. Optional Financial Assistance forms are due.
Mar: Decisions are mailed; deposits are made.
Apr: Meet and celebrate with some of your new classmates.
