Request Teacher Evaluation and Release of Records to forms from your current school. These are available in your Parent Portal account available after applying. We recommend submitting both forms to your school in early December to ensure they are received by our office by January 31, 2026.

Students are required to complete an age-appropriate admission test as part of their application. Detailed information is provided by the admission directors. Age 3 to grade 1 applicants must schedule their on-campus assessment visit through the parent portal.

Lower School Admission events are offered after decisions are released. Enrollment commitments and tuition deposits are due on Monday, March 16 at 4:00 p.m.

Parents will be contacted by email with additional information about the Achievement Assessment and their child’s time slot based on grade level to take place on the Lower School campus on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

While not required, attending an event is a great way to begin learning about our Middle School community. We offer a range of options that provide families the opportunity to engage with the Saints community - students, faculty, and administrators. To apply to our Middle School (grades 6-8), students are required to complete an admission test as part of their application. Applicants may choose from one of these two standardized test options. Applicants must register directly with SSAT or ISEE. Results must be submitted by January 31, 2026. As always, please contact the Admission Office at 703-212-2706 if you have any questions or need assistance. 

• SSAT  (Secondary School Admission Test) | The SSAT is a virtually unspeeded assessment, meaning that most students have adequate time to consider each question. Students are assessed on their verbal, math, and reading skills. A non-scored writing sample is also included to assess writing ability.  The SSAT site also has practice materials to help students prepare. | Secondary School Admission Test. SSAT offers test accommodations and fee waivers available through the SSAT website. The SSAT school code to report test results to SSSAS is 6238.

• ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). This test not only measures what students know, but it also measures how they think. This means that students have multiple opportunities to shine and show their application schools what they are capable of. ERB produces a variety of free materials to help your student prepare for test day. The ISEE school code to report test results to SSSAS is 470040.
