SSSAS Presents “Oliver”

The Upper School will present four performances on March 6, 7, 13 & 14.

St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School Stage One Players presents, “Oliver!” based on Charles Dickens’ novel, “Oliver Twist,” with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart. Go on a wild adventure through Victorian England with Oliver Twist, as he navigates London’s underworld of theft and violence, searching for a home, family, and love. Meet well-known characters—Artful Dodger, Fagin, and Bill Sykes—and enjoy spirited and timeless songs like “As Long as He Needs Me,” “Food, Glorious Food,” and “Where is Love.”
Please note: Charles Dickens explored a number of serious issues in the story of “Oliver Twist,” including homelessness, child labor, and domestic abuse. Due to the number of serious themes, the show is recommended for audience members who are eighth grade or older.
