The Upper School heard from SSSAS teacher and coach Dionna Jordan who gave an insightful speech.
St. Stephen's and St. Agnes Upper School held their annual assembly on September 9 focusing on the school’s Honor Code: "As a member of the St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School community, I pledge that I will not lie, cheat, steal, nor tolerate those who do." This SSSAS tradition promotes an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect.
Saints heard from Dionna Jordan--Middle School Athletic Director, Administrative Assistant for Athletics, AP Psychology Teacher, and Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach--who gave an insightful speech about the importance of making good choices, upholding the values of the school, and following their own moral code.
Dionna joined the Saints community in 2011 and has served as a faculty member in the Science Department where she teaches AP Psychology, she is also a member of the athletic department where she coaches field hockey, basketball, and track & field, and she also contributes to our broader community by serving as the faculty leader of the multiracial affinity group. Additionally, she is an important member of our Honor and Disciplinary Board. Currently, in her fourth year as a faculty advisor on the Honor and Disciplinary board, she feels her role in working with students and faculty around our Honor Code is perhaps her most important role at the school.
